Early Wireless Projects
WAP:  Like most early developers in the late 90's, I created wireless WAP versions of numerous .COM websites and designed mobile information portals for consumer applications (news, weather, sports, traffic, shopping.)

Mobile Coupons: Developed a  merchant-driven SMS couponing service. During periods of slow sales, local store managers used their phone's WAP browser to determine what limited time coupons were sent to opt-in frequent customers via SMS.

PalmNet / OmniSky:  Realizing the limitations of early WAP phones and their inappropriateness for enterprise applications, I switched to the early Palm wireless platforms: PalmNet and OmniSky.

Mobile Media: Surveyed and evaluated the cost effectiveness of Palm-based advertising and marketing campaigns.

Pocket CRM:  On the 1st generation PocketPCs, developed wireless extensions to existing CRM (customer relationship management) and FSA (field service automation) systems enabling mobile workers to access data residing on corporate enterprise databases.

Vision Creator: Designed and programmed a web-based application that enabled Sprint Vision users to create their own home deck and populate it with content from any website.
