Best Cache Clues

Sometimes the cache owner provides a visible clue at the cache site.  Or a previous geocacher leaves behind a mark.

GC85 - Camera Cache - Shrewsbury, MA

The first clue I encountered was this soda can in the bushes.  Unfortunately, the cache has since been trashed.  So much for leaving clues.

GC3C34 - BluEyz Cache - Milton, MA

This two-part cache came with two clues. The first was a variation on the "soda can in the bush".

The second was this painted rock covering the cache.

GC42F9 - Cat Lover's Cache - Wellesley, MA

Another painted rock from the owners of the BluEyz cache.

GC4FAA - X Marks the Spot - Acton, MA

You often find crossed sticks above buried caches.

GC1D01 - Parker Woodland - Foster, RI

Someone balanced this pile of stones on a ridge just above the cache location.  Very effective when viewed from the trail below.

GC70EF - Aug 10 Picnic #2  - Boston, MA

Inside this logical hiding place was the note No cache here!
